Full Day Trip in West Bank of Luxor

Luxor, The ancient city stood on both sides of the Nile, and few spots in Egypt, are so ideally suited to such a purpose. The range of hills to the east and west curve away from the river’s bank leaving broad plains on either side. Here marvelous monuments were raised in honor of Amon-Ra. Luxor, which developed into the great Capital of the Egyptian empire, had no particular importance during the first thousand years of Egypt’s ancient History. When Narmer moved northwards to unit the two lands and establish Memphis as capital; in the Early Dynastic Period when the kings constructed their cenotaphs at Abydos; during the Great Pyramid Age when granite was quarried from Aswan in the south and transported to the Necropolis of Giza to the north- throughout all these long centuries Luxor was no different from the chief cities of other provinces. ASWAN, Aswan is a Nubian city in the south of Egypt located on the east bank of the Nile River connected to Cairo with train stations, railways, and domestic flights, its the population is almost about 900,000, The city of Aswan is about 85 meters above sea level, it is 879 km from Cairo, and its area about 34,608 km2.

Aswan, Egypt is a city that is steeped in history and culture and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Located in the southern part of Egypt, on the east bank of the Nile River, Aswan is a city that has been visited by tourists for centuries and is known for its stunning monuments, beautiful scenery, and rich cultural heritage. In this blog post, I will take you on a journey through the history of Aswan, and show you some of the hidden gems that make this city a must-visit destination in Egypt

Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut, Nobles, Habu, Deir Elmadineh & Memnon Collosi

WHEN ARE YOU TRAVELLING?

visiting Luxor with me can be quite overwhelming.

The list of archaeological sites and things to do in Luxor is so big that visiting every single temple and tomb would take several days Therefore, unless you have all the time in the world (which most travelers don’t), you have to choose and be pretty organized.

Furthermore, most sites tend to be overrun by dozens of tour groups, which could make your visit slightly unpleasant.

you will find our guide beat the crowds and to make you relax and make all this on your behalf All right. First of all, you need to bear in mind that the West Bank is composed of 14 archaeological sites, plus the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, spread across a huge area.

Visiting them on foot isn’t really an option, as several kilometers separate them.

The only way to visit them is with a tour group (which sucks), coolest option if you want to do it privately to find me and contact me before I got booked .

ITINERARY

Pick up from your hotel to the west bank of Luxor, to visit:

The two Colossal Statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then visit, – The Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs were discovered.

Those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will visit 3 tombs.

Continue the tour to the valley of the queens.

Later on you will visit the

Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahary dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh.  Medinat Habu is a cluster of buildings dominated by the massive open air Temple of Ramses III. Honestly, you would not have believed the scale if it had been in a Hollywood movie.

– The tombs of the nobles where smallish tombs for the wealthy are completely deserted of tourists & finally you will visit – The valley of the workers who built the tombs & temple of the ancient Egyptians. MEETING POINT + TOUR DURATION
